As we head into a short week, we’re excited for our Spring Concert: Songs Around the Campfire – A Celebration of Faith. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate the incredible talents and gifts of our students.
-This is the last week for Karaoke club.
-Monday, May 12: Crib club at lunch & karaoke club after school until 4.
-Tuesday, May 13: Spring Concert @ 1:15 (A-M) & Run4Fun training at lunch.
-Wednesday, May 14: Spring Concert @ 1:15 (N-Z)
-Thursday, May 15: No School (Professional Learning Day)
-Friday, May 16: No School
There will be no school on Monday, May 19. We will see all students back on Tuesday, May 20

It’s such a rewarding way to support our community and contribute to an incredible cause. I also have so much respect for everyone working in fast food—it's no easy task, and they deserve all the appreciation. (Sorry if anyone got the wrong coffee or cold drink order today.

It couldn’t have been more perfect timing as the new pope was just announced this morning.
Father Michael visited the grade 5 classes yesterday to discuss the ongoing Conclave. The students had a lot of great questions and were eager to learn more about this historical event. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to gain a deeper understanding of the process and significance behind the election of the pope.
Robert Francis Prevost becomes first U.S.-born pope. Prevost will be known as Pope Leo XIV. Born in Chicago, he was elected on the second day of the conclave.

New for the 2025–2026 school year at École St. Mary is our exciting Volleyball Academy, available to students in Grades 4 to 6.

Important Schedule Update:
This will be the final week for badminton, as the stage will be set up for our Spring Concert on Thursday.
Please note: There will be no morning ball hockey on Thursday, Friday, or the following week due to concert preparations.
-Monday, May 5: Art club at lunch & Karaoke club after school until 4pm.
-Tuesday, May 6: Run4Fun running at lunch & grade four badminton after school until 4:05pm.
-Wednesday, May 7: Hats on for Mental Health (wear your favourite hat), crib club at lunch, grade six field trip to the Legislature, Father Michael visiting & grade five badminton after school.
-Thursday, May 8: Fire drill practice, grade six badminton after school & hang-out with Ms. Ronda Ellis after school.
-Friday, May 9: Celebration of Mary & Mothers @ 11am (all welcome) & Spring concert rehearsal after announcements.
