English Language Learners
In working with all stakeholders, our English Language Learners will receive programming focused on developing their oral, written, and reading proficiencies. Through personal relationship building, we build classroom environments centered around our students where all students' cultural backgrounds and individual needs are recognized and supported. Through the completion of the Alberta K-12 ESL Proficiency Benchmark, our students proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing will continually be assessed and monitored to guide our classroom instruction. In accordance with the measures of Living Waters divisional document, BluePrint 5.2, our hope for each English Language Learner is for them to show 100% growth in at least one of the above areas.
